FINN CARES 2021
Formerly known as MDC Cares, FINN CARES launched six years ago through the Student Life Department with the mission to serve our community and a goal of creating meaningful change in our students while doing so.
Aligning with the attributes of a changemaker, also found in our dear College Mascot FINN, students who participate in the annual FINN CARES project will be exposed to unique opportunities to S.O.A.R: show empathy, own their actions, accept differences and realize their potential.

GIVING BACK WHILE STAYING STAFE
COVID-19 has led us to redefine resilience and brought into focus how difficult it is to prepare for an uncertain and unpredictable future. As a unit, Student Life is stepping forward to support those made more vulnerable by the pandemic by partnering with various organizations throughout the Miami Dade County community. These acts of community and solidarity between students and the surrounding community will strengthen partnerships and help those most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath.
This year, campuses have selected various community agencies to give back to. In the Agencies tab, you may explore ways to give back to the agency or agencies of choice.
